The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is inviting applications for the following  positions:

Position Title:   Conservation Grant Administrator 1   PPT 93.3%                      Salary Range:  $3896 - $5492 Pro-rated at 93,3%

Position Location : Office of Resource Conservation, Special Funds/Federal Aid & Fiscal Review – Springfield, IL, Sangamon County

WORK SCHEDULE - Days: Monday - Friday                              Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 1/2 hour lunch     
             

Description of Duties
Under direction, assists in the administration and procedural standardization of federal and state-supported grant projects and programs managed by the Office; participates in the preparation, review, tracking and reporting of grant applications, project amendments, memoranda of understanding, contract documents, expenditures and project accomplishment.

Desirable Education, Training and Experience  
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of college with courses in business management or public administration.  Requires one year professional experience in a grants administration field.  Requires knowledge of the functions of State government and the methods used to determine compliance with statutes, rules and regulations.  Requires a working knowledge of personal computers and a familiarity with database and spreadsheet design.
